CSW Meeting on January 18

The next CSW meeting will be on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

CREW CONNECT

Join us on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 6-9 PM for our next WQED Filmmakers Crew Connect at Dancing Gnome Brewery, presented by WQED.
As always, this Crew Connect will allow you the opportunity to network with other local Pittsburgh filmmakers and pitch your ideas!
EVENT TO INCLUDE:

-The opportunity to pitch yourself or your project!
-Pitch Ticket: Reserve a “Pitch Ticket” if you are planning to pitch yourself or your project!

CSW SEATED READINGS AND FILM SCREENINGS

The Carnegie Screenwriters present an evening of seated readings and film screenings.
 
Monday, July 8 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
 
We will do readings of several short scripts, including Aaron Sutch’s “Locked, Stocked, Dropped,” the script we used for our CSW 48 Hour Film Project film. We will screen “Locked, Stocked, Dropped” along with Mystery Achieved’s 48 HFP film, “Stargazer.”
 
Readers for the evening: Samantha Ainsworth, Minda Briley, Rei Briley, Shane Callahan, Carrie Collins, David Dietz, Duncan Jameson, Amy Marsalis, Jerry Pietrala, Joel Rosenthal, Bob Scott, John Siciliano and Stephanie Swift.
 
SCRIPTS: “Dear Amy” by William Gleeson; “Bird Song” by Roger Silverstein; “Just Another Day” by Joyce Bevic; “Supermoon” by Chad Shannon & Catherine Dawgert, and, “Locked, Stocked, Dropped” by Aaron Sutch.
 
FREE and open to the public.
