CSW Film in the Pittsburgh 48 Hour Film Project

Congratulations to the Carnegie Screenwriters team on their entry in the Pittsburgh 48 Hour Film Project, “I Wet My Plants,” written by Jenna Potts and directed by Caroline Collins. The comedy was nominated for nine awards and won four:

Best Female Leading Actor – Samantha Ainsworth

Best Female Supporting Actor – Samantha Fitschen

Best Female-Led Team

Runner-Up for Audience Favorite – Screening Group B

CSW 48 Hour Film

The Carnegie Screenwriters film for the 2023 Pittsburgh 48 Hour Film Festival is a comedy entitled “I Wet My Plants” written by Jenna Potts and directed by Caroline Collins.

It stars Samantha Ainsworth, Cynthia Dallas and Samantha Fitschen along with Larsen Briley, Reidun Briley, Cami DiPasquale, Joel Rosenthal and Aaron Sutch.

 

Our film will screen on Friday, May 19 @ 9:00 pm at the Oaks Theater in Oakmont. We are in Group B.

Carnegie Screenwriters Meeting

The Mt. Lebanon Library is now open for in-person meetings and Carnegie Screenwriters will be meeting – for the first time since the start of the pandemic – on Saturday, April 23rd at 10AM. We are excited to return to the basement and we hope to see you there!

Pittsburgh 48 Hour Film Project

The Carnegie Screenwriters will once again compete in the Pittsburgh 48 Hour Film Project.  July 9-11. 48 hours to write, shoot, edit and score a short film. Let the madness begin! Good luck to all of the teams.
